The Whitsundays are famous for their 74 tropical islands, only a handful of which have resorts on them. Most well known of the resort islands are Hamilton Island, One&Only Hayman Island, Daydream Island Resort and Spa and Long Island Resort.
The World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Home to tens of thousands of species of brilliantly coloured fish, coral and other marine life the Great Barrier Reef is a spectacular underwater playground, and the Whitsundays lies in the very heart of the reef.

Standing a top Gower’s iconic peak, amongst its misty forest inhabited by the island’s famous woodhens, walkers experience breathtaking 360 degree views of the island and its crystal blue waters.

In 1982, The Lord Howe Island Group was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage property, in recognition of the global significance of the island’s beauty and biodiversity.

 

Lord Howe Island is widely regarded as the most beautiful island in the Pacific. Just a two hour flight from Sydney or Brisbane, you’ll find it situated off the East Coast of Australia.
