CRIMEIA (KRIM)- KHERSONESUS

A big surprise today in my mailbox.
Postcard sent by Nathalya Korolkova from Russia with a view of Khersonesus in Ukraine / Russia. In future story decides.
Located in present day Sevastopol, Khersones is the site of an ancient Greek city dating back to the 5th century BC. Protected as a state archeological park, tourists can walk the grounds and view ancient building from the Greek, Roman and Byzantine periods.

UKRAINE AND MOLDOVA

We can see a bridge over Instytuska St and a Museum of Folk Architecture and way of life of the Middle Dnipro Region.
From Moldova we can see Sf. Paraschiva Church.

UCRANIA - OLESKO CASTLE

- Olesko Castle .The first historical records of the castle are in a document dated 1390, when Pope Boniface IX gave Halych, a Catholic bishop, this castle as a gift. - Khotyn Fortress
The fortress is a large tourist attraction for the area and Ukraine. In 2007, the fortress was named one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine.^[1] It is also a National Ukrainian Architectural Preserve as of 2000.

- Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyl - St. George Church, 1768
St. George Church from Andrushy village of Pereyaslav regiment, 1768.
It was built for money of village society. The building with one dome with he bell tower built in 1830.
