SWITZERLAND - WILDNISPARK ZURICH

Today I received postcards from 2 countries. Now Switzerland. Postcards sent me by Wildnis park Zurich.
We can see wild life. One lynx, a bear in Wildpark Langenberg, a forest, Sihlwald forest, a sea otter and wild horses. 

Wildnispark Zurich was established in 2009 and includes Sihlwald forest, the only Nature Discovery Park of Switzerland and Langenberg, the oldest swiss wildlife park. It enables more than half a million visitors every year to experience fascinating nature adventures, recreation an an insight into the rhythm of nature.

FINLAND - LEVI - FINNISH LAPLAND

Levi is a fell located in Finnish Lapland, and the largest ski resort in Finland. The resort is located in Kittilä municipality and is served by Kittilä Airport and Kolari railway station. At a latitude of 67.8° north, it is located approximately 170 km (110 mi) north of the Arctic Circle.

We can see "Quinta dos Frutos" in Graciosa Island - Azores.

 

The "Fifth of Fruits" is a traditional rural household secular. Transformed to rural tourism, composed of the main house (residential) house and home oxen dump.

Within the farm has a small museum with some antiques in the house and some typical instruments of the culture of our Island.

It´s a traditional rural house and farm. Now it´s a tourist house. Near Vitoria beach.

SPAIN - LA FRAGOSA (LAS HURDES)El principal atractivo que tiene la alquería de Fragosa son sus calles y casas típicas que se reparten por todo el pueblo.

El principal atractivo que tiene la alquería de Fragosa son sus calles y casas típicas que se reparten por todo el pueblo.
También podemos resaltar la iglesia que es junto con la de Aceitunilla las más antiguas de Las Hurdes.
Poco después de adentrarnos en la alquería por la plaza mayor, encontramos una fuente realizada en pizarra por la que sale el agua proveniente de un chorro que se encuentra detrás y que viene de las montañas.

CAMINOMORISCO - This town was formerly known as Las Calabazas and its present name dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. The area has known much depopulation during the last few decades, so that a number of alquerías (small settlements of a few houses), like Casas de Jelechoso, Arrocartintero and Arrocerezo, lie now abandoned.

ZIMBABWE - NYANGA

Nyanga is primarily a tourist town and is a popular tourist destination with its fishing, golf courses, mountain hikes and holiday resorts.

WHITSUNDAYS - AUSTRALIA (GREAT BARRIER REEF) UNESCO

Home to tens of thousands of species of brilliantly coloured fish, coral and other marine life the Great Barrier Reef is a spectacular underwater playground, and the Whitsundays lies in the very heart of the reef.

KUTNÁ HORA - UNESCO SITE IN CZECH REPUBLIC

Kutná Hora and the neighboring town of Sedlec are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the most important buildings in the area are the Gothic, five-naved St. Barbara's Church, begun in 1388, and the Italian Court, formerly a royal residence and mint, which was built at the end of the 13th century. The Gothic Stone Haus, which since 1902 has served as a museum, contains one of the richest archives in the country. The Gothic St. James's Church, with its 86 metre tower, is another prominent building. Sedlec is the site of the Gothic Cathedral of Our Lady and the famous Ossuary.

"We did some hiking and went horse back riding on the famous Mongolian horses.  The horses are smaller than horses in America but very fast." Mongolia is nicknamed the "Land of Blue Skies," and with good reason: there are said to be about 250 sunny days throughout each year.

The sand dunes extend along the northern side of Sevrei and Zuulun mountain ranges. These dunes are 180 km long, 15-20 km wide and up to 200m high. There is a small oasis near Khongoriin gol stream, which flows along the northern edge of the dunes. The scenery here is simply spectacular.
